Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Carnival Adventure deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Carnival Cruise Line deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Carnival Adventure cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Adventure staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Carnival Adventure (built in 2001 as "Golden Princess", last refurbished in April 2025, with previous drydocking by Princess in 2015 and refurbishment by P&O Australia in February 2024) is the second of nine GRAND-class Princess Cruises ships, alongside her CCL fleetmate and sistership Carnival Encounter. In 2020, Golden Princess was transferred to P&O Australia and renamed "Pacific Adventure." In November 2021, Star Princess (as Pacific Encounter) joined Pacific Adventure in the P&O Australia fleet. In 2025, the vessel was transferred to Carnival Cruise Line (CCL).
Note: The Carnival Adventure deck plan page also includes the floor plans of Pacific Adventure and Golden Princess.
The Carnival Adventure cruise ship deck plan features 1316 cabins accommodating 2636 passengers (maximum capacity 3158), served by 1100 crew. The ship has 18 decks (13 accessible to passengers, 9 with cabins), 11 dining venues (restaurants and food bars), 7 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools, 9 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpools), and 14 elevators.
Passenger-use launderettes (laundromats) are available on decks 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. These are self-service laundry facilities equipped with ironing boards and detergent.
Compared to Golden Princess, Pacific/Carnival Adventure features a new sundeck retreat called "Byron Beach Club." This exclusive top-deck area is available only to Suite and Mini-Suite passengers and offers a private sundeck with an outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis (whirlpool spas), and comfortable garden lounge seating. Suite-only perks also include VIP dining with concierge service and priority reservations for all onboard dining venues.
The refurbished vessel also features the Aqua Park—P&O Australia's first-ever water park—featuring two 135-meter-long dual racing waterslides (~80 m / 260 ft each) with LED lighting, sound effects, and multiple twists and turns. The water park includes a shaded area for kids with a dumping bucket and oversized water toys.
Another new addition is the P&OEdge Adventure Park, an outdoor activity facility offering a flying fox, rock-climbing wall, and "Walk the Plank."
Located on the top deck (aft) is the ship’s bowling green court for barefoot bowling.
