MS Excellence Coral

The MS Excellence Coral cruise ship was launched in 1998 (as “MS Swiss Coral”) and was acquired from Scylla Cruises and renamed in 2012. She is the smallest vessel in the fleet, measuring 82 meters in length and accommodating up to 87 passengers. The riverboat is owned by the German travel company Swiss Excellence River Cruise GmbH, based in Basel (a subsidiary of Twerenbold Reisen), and operated by Excellence Flussreisen (travel brand) through Reiseburo Mittelthurgau AG (marketing and sales).

The vessel features three decks (two with cabins) and offers a range of leisure and entertainment options. The spacious Sun Deck provides outdoor relaxation with chairs, loungers, and a Jacuzzi. The panoramic onboard restaurant serves multi-course menus featuring international cuisine for lunch and dinner, while breakfast is offered as a rich buffet. The ship’s lounge has its own bar, providing a cozy atmosphere and a fine selection of drinks.

All cabins are exterior, offering scenic views of the passing landscape. Cabins on the Middle and Upper Decks feature French Balconies. Each stateroom is equipped with satellite TV, radio, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and a private bathroom with shower and WC.

Onboard entertainment includes board and card games, themed dance nights, and quiz shows, along with live music performances. The panoramic bar invites guests to end the day with a pleasant view and a refreshing drink. A well-stocked library and a selection of books and social games are also available. The generous Sun Deck provides various seating and lounging options for relaxation throughout the voyage.
