MS Swiss Diamond

The 1996-built MS Swiss Diamond cruise ship has two sisterships: Swiss Crystal and Swiss Pearl. The riverboat operates mainly on Passau–Hungary–Passau itineraries. Last refurbished in 2019, Swiss Diamond was chartered in 2021 to VIVA Cruises (a Scylla-owned subsidiary and travel brand).

In 2021, VIVA Cruises introduced two new Swiss Diamond itineraries sailing along the Baltic Sea coast, both operating roundtrip from Stralsund, Germany: “Island Hopping Baltic Sea” and “Baltic Islands.” The program (May–October 2021) offered fares from EUR 1395 / GBP 1240 per person (double-occupancy rates).

VIVA Cruises’ all-inclusive deals feature snacks, in-cabin minibar, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Rituals beauty products, and gratuities.

Cabins

All cabins on the 123-passenger MS Swiss Diamond are outward-facing and feature a panoramic window, radio, TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning, hairdryer, shower, and WC. In addition to twin-bed double cabins, the vessel offers one triple cabin, one single cabin, and a large suite.

Shipboard facilities

The welcoming lounge with dance floor and panoramic bar, the light-toned restaurant, and the intimate library ensure a relaxing onboard atmosphere. Guests can unwind in the whirlpool on the Sun Deck or in the sauna with solarium. A Boutique Shop completes the available services. An elevator connects Ruby and Emerald decks, while a stair lift provides access to the Sun Deck.
