River Empress

Uniworld River Empress cruises on the Main, Rhine, and Danube rivers, departing from homeports Antwerp, Amsterdam, Vienna, Budapest, and Nuremberg.

Cabins

River Empress has a total of 66 cabins (including 4 Suites) across 6 categories. Passenger staterooms are serviced daily and feature individual climate control, premium bedding, direct-dial telephone, TV, built-in closet and in-room safe, hairdryer, and a compact bathroom stocked with L'Occitane products.

The Suites include additional amenities such as a welcome bottle of wine upon arrival, daily fruit plate and cookies, DVD player, larger sitting area, refrigerator, continental breakfast service, morning tea and coffee, and complimentary laundry and shoeshine services.

All Riverview Suites and standard staterooms are equipped with handcrafted UK-made Savoir beds and luxury bedding.

All cabins on the Rhine Deck feature French balconies.

MS River Empress features an elegant Restaurant (main dining room), where guests enjoy fine cuisine and attentive service. The ship has several lounges: the Main Lounge, with a full-service bar, dance floor, and panoramic views; the Captain’s Lounge & Library, offering cozy seating and a full bar, ideal for a more intimate setting; as well as the Patio Lounge and Sky Lounge. The Sun Deck provides shuffleboard and life-size chess. Additional facilities include a fitness center, Serenity River Spa, sauna, boutique, laundry and ironing facilities, and an elevator. Nordic walking sticks and bicycles are available for shore excursions. Other amenities include a complimentary specialty coffee bar, 24-hour reception service, and free Wi-Fi and Internet access.

River Empress river cruise prices are per person, based on double occupancy, and are indicative Uniworld rates. Actual fares may vary when booking cruise-only or cruise tour packages, depending on travel agency promotions, special offers and discounts, group bookings, or last-minute deals. Uniworld also offers air-inclusive cruise packages and pre- and post-cruise hotel extensions at an additional cost.
