RV Ganges Voyager II sails on the Ganges River, departing from Kolkata/Calcutta (West Bengal, India). The roundtrip itinerary, themed “The Sacred Ganges & the Maharajas' Express,” combines a river cruise with luxury train travel between New Delhi and Mumbai.

Uniworld (officially "Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection") is a leading river cruise company and part of The Travel Corporation group.

The riverboat was launched in 2015 as one of only two luxury vessels on the Ganges in India and Bangladesh. She was built for Haimark Travel, based in Breckenridge, Colorado, and is currently chartered by Uniworld for all Ganges itineraries.

Ganges Voyager II has 28 passenger suites in six categories, accommodating up to 56 guests.

  • 1x Maharaja Suite – 37 m² / 400 ft²
  • 2x Viceroy Suites – 34 m² / 360 ft²
  • 2x Heritage Suites – 26 m² / 280 ft²
  • 23x Standard Suites (13 Colonial + 10 Signature) – 24 m² / 260 ft²

All suites feature a French balcony and en suite bathroom with Molton Brown bath products and rain showers. Larger suites include complimentary spa treatments, laundry, and butler service. The Maharaja Suite adds a deep soaking tub and the option of in-suite dining.

The vessel has 4 decks, including 2 with passenger accommodations.

Shipboard Facilities

Dining venues include the East India Restaurant (main dining room) and the Governor’s Lounge & Bar, where complimentary afternoon High Tea is served daily. Coffee, tea, and snacks are available 24/7.

Other amenities include the Observation Deck, Voyager Spa, and fitness center. Complimentary coffee, tea, soft drinks, and mineral water are provided with meals, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship.
