Review of MS Edelweiss
MS Edelweiss was built in 2013 and her concept revolutionised river cruising industry. Edelweiss is the first river boat of a new generation, characterized by the well-known elegant interiors by Scylla. With 90 cabins for up to 180 passengers, the 4-star cruise liner promises a luxurious experience. Ship's impressive atrium welcomes guests onboard. The decor of Edelweiss is characterized by modern design, but nevertheless the ship is still recognisable as a member of SCYLLA family. The history of the Swiss shipping company began in 1974 with ms Scylla.
All of the cabins are outward-facing and offer French balconies or panoramic windows. State-of-the-art equipment and modern design create unique atmosphere. All rooms are fully equipped, boasting a flat-screen TV, radio, safe, minibar, air conditioning, hair dryer, shower and WC.
The new gastronomy concept sets new standards onboard ms Edelweiss. Two restaurants - “Jungfrau” and “Matterhorn”, and free seating for long mealtimes offer flexibility and a choice between à la carte and buffet. Furthermore, a fitness area with the latest equipment is provided.
MS Alina has a panoramic lounge with a dance floor and bar, comfortable Lido Bar featuring a terrace, a boutique, Internet corner, spacious sun deck with a pool, putting green and sun loungers. A lift is also provided between upper, main and lower deck.
