Review of MS River Venture
MS River Venture entered service in 2013. The 134-passenger river cruise ship has four decks and 69 cabins (165 ft2 or larger), all of which are outside, with a clock radio with iPod dock, a telephone, flat-screen TV and hotel-style beds. River Venture runs 10-night voyages from Paris north into Normandy.
This charming, 360-feet riverboat features one sitting, open seating meals in the Compass Rose restaurant. The Captains Club on Deck 3 serves light breakfast and lunch during the day. Sightseeing tours are included in fare. Each River Venture cruise is accompanied by program directors with local expertise. The Cultural Connections program offers in-depth experiences in each visited country through special meals, lectures, receptions, home visits, performances and local activities. Passengers are provided with free headphones for each excursion in order to hear the guide clearly. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided anywhere onboard.
