MV Esmeralda

MV Esmeralda cruise ship is owned by Trans River Line (German cruise tour company) and chartered by the UK-based Shearings Holidays. The riverboat was launched in 1979 and completely refitted in 1986. It offers a family atmosphere and high level of comfort while sailing along Danube River.

Cabins

The riverboat can accommodate up to 126 passengers on 2 decks and is air-conditioned throughout. All the 63 outward facing staterooms have satellite TV, twin beds, safe deposit box, continental electricity socket (220 volts), en-suite bathrooms (shower and WC).

Shipboard facilities

This river cruise ship boasts an inviting and spacious lounge, which along with the bar was completely renovated in 2011. Each day, morning coffee and afternoon tea are served in the lounge. It has a lift between the main and promenade deck. MV Esmeralda also has a stair lift between the sun and the promenade deck. The best pleasure is to relax on the partially covered sun deck.

The restaurant is located forward on the ship's main deck and can accommodate all passengers in a single seating. On all Danube cruises on Esmeralda, passengers start the day with buffet breakfast. On itineraries during summer months, they enjoy a 3-course lunch and a 4-course dinner with a choice in the menu.
