RV Thurgau Exotic II is a charming Irrawaddy River cruise ship sailing on itineraries in Burma between Mandalay and Rangoon / Yangon. The riverboat features an elegant design inspired by the ambiance of the bygone colonial era and is furnished with quality furniture, local hardwoods, and traditional artwork. The onboard atmosphere is friendly and informal, ensuring a comfortable and enriching exploration experience. Built in 2011, the vessel accommodates just 28 passengers in 15 staterooms.

The riverboat’s dining room is spacious and seats all guests in a single open-seating arrangement. It offers panoramic views and is tastefully appointed with wooden furnishings and artwork. Breakfast is served buffet-style, while lunch and dinner are waiter-served and feature a fusion of Western and Asian cuisine. Vegetarian dishes are always available, and a fresh salad bar is offered at lunch. Complimentary coffee and tea are available from 6:00 a.m. on the sun deck throughout the day. Local mineral water is provided daily in all cabins, with additional bottles available upon request. Soft drinks, wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages are not included in the cruise fare but are available for purchase.

Thurgau Exotic 2’s sun deck is furnished with comfortable reclining chairs, a self-service coffee and tea station, and a bar where travelers can relax while watching the ever-changing river scenery. A covered observation area allows guests to enjoy the river breeze and scenic landscapes away from the daytime sun. The vessel also features a small library with a selection of English-language books. The onboard boutique offers a collection of local handmade souvenirs, handicrafts, postcards, and a limited range of toiletries.
