Review of MS Swiss Crystal

The beautiful ms Swiss Crystal was built in 1995. She is the sister ship of ms Swiss Diamond, Pearl, Ruby and Saxonia. The 330-feet Swiss Crystal features an welcoming lounge with a dance floor and panoramic bar, restaurant in light colours, and intimate library, all ensuring that the passengers immediately feel at home onboard. They can relax in the whirlpool on the sun deck or in the sauna with solarium. The boutique rounds off the available services. A lift links ship's Ruby deck with the Emerald, and there is a stair lift to ship's Sun deck.

All cabins on the 125-passenger ms Swiss Diamond are outward-facing and feature a panoramic window, radio, TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning, hair dryer, shower and WC. In addition to double cabins with twin beds, the vessel also offers one 3-bed cabin and a single cabin, as well as a large suite.

The accident resulted in 27 injured passengers and crew and the ship's hull (bow) was seriously damaged.
