MS Swiss Jewel

MS Swiss Jewel cruise ship (also known as “MPS Thurgau Prestige”) joined Scylla’s fleet in 2009 and has been chartered to Thurgau Travel (as “Thurgau Prestige”) since 2018. The riverboat’s sisterships are the fleetmates Swiss Emerald, Swiss Sapphire, Esprit, and Treasures.

The vessel (ENI number 07001906) is owned by Scylla AG and operated by its subsidiary Scylla Cruises. When chartered to the Switzerland-based company Thurgau Travel, the ship sails under the name “Thurgau Prestige.”

The vessel (ENI number 07001906) is Switzerland-flagged (MMSI 269057300) and registered in Basel. Scylla AG currently charters MS Swiss Jewel (rebranded as Thurgau Prestige) to Thurgau Travel.

Cabins

Emerald Deck features 1 mini-suite and 11 double cabins. Ruby Deck has 30 double cabins and 2 mini-suites. Diamond Deck offers 14 suites and 4 mini-suites. All accommodations are outside cabins and include standard complimentary amenities: flat-screen TV, electronic safe box (in the closet), minibar, air conditioning, hairdryer, and en-suite bathroom (shower, WC, single-sink vanity).

All cabins on Ruby Deck and Diamond Deck are fitted with French balconies.

Shipboard facilities

The riverboat Swiss Jewel features a stylish lounge with dance floor and panoramic bar, along with an additional comfortable bar located aft, both situated on the Diamond Deck. The ship’s entrance hall houses the reception, Travel Desk, and boutique. The elegant restaurant is located on the Ruby Deck. Additional onboard amenities include a fitness room and an Internet corner. The whirlpool is located on the Sun Deck. An elevator connects all decks except the Emerald Deck.
