MPS Salvinia cruise ship is owned by Scheepvaartbedrijf Steneker (Holland) and operated under charter by Feenstra Rijn Lijn (translated Feenstra Rhine Line). This premium riverboat operates on Main, Moselle, Rhine and Danube river cruise itineraries, and also on the Dutch Waterways (in Holland). Departures are offered from Arnhem, Basel and Cologne. MPS Salvinia cruise fares are inclusive of all transfers to and from the ship (by air, coach, or train /Eurostar).
Like all Feenstra ships, Salvinia is Netherlands-flagged (registered in Maasbracht Holland).
Cabins
All cabins are outside, offering centrally regulated air conditioning and heating. The accommodations feature private en-suite bathroom facilities with WC-toilet and shower, separate single-sink vanity, flat TV, hairdryer, electronic safe box (in the closet), wardrobe with plenty of storage space. During the day, one of the two separate beds is easily converted into a sofa. Cabins 130 and 131 feature the same facilities but have a freestanding double bed (non-convertible to twins).
In the 3-berth cabins (triple-occupancy), the 3rd bed is an upper bunk (Pullman) and suitable only for kids. This kind of stateroom is slightly bigger than the 2-berth (double-occupancy. The two triple cabins are on Main Deck and can be also booked as doubles (for 2 passengers / 2-berth Cabin Plus). Double cabins on Promenade Deck are with larger windows compared to Main Deck cabins' windows (which are also placed higher). The ship also has 7 single cabins (with no single supplement) avalable for booking.

Shipboard facilities
The Salvinia ship is designed like a sleek yacht, with sumptuous textile, leather furniture and dark wood. The beautifully designed lounge features an open fireplace. The spacious lounge looks like an inviting front room and boasts a comfortable sofa and a baby grand piano. To make the most of the good weather, the Sun Deck serves as a welcoming living room. Passengers will find tranquillity and peace in the impressive library, the best place to lose oneself in a good book. The ship also boasts an onboard gym (fitness equipment includes an exercise bike) and a relaxation room with a whirlpool, sauna, solar cabin, massage chairs and shower room. Wireless internet access is also available (in the Restaurant, Hall and Lounge), where guests can also hire a laptop. A passenger lift )elevator with capacity 6 people) connects all decks.
The onboard luxury extends to the boat's stylish restaurant with breathtaking views, located on Main Deck. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style, with a wide choice of Continental and English items to choose from. The 4-course evening meal includes starter, soup, choice of meat or fish main course (vegetarian option is available on request) and a dessert, all expertly crafted. On one evening passengers enjoy a very special 5-course Captain’s dinner which is one of the many highlights of Salvinia's cruising vacation experience.
Feenstra cruise prices include full bar service, with tea and coffee waiter-served daily at regular intervals. Drinks at the Bar Lounge and shore excursions are not included in the fares. Feenstra Rhine Line doesn't charge additionally for port fees and shipboard gratuities.
