MS Nestroy is a premium, modernly furnished riverboat with a total of 113 staterooms (107 available for booking). She cruises exclusively on the Danube River (including the Danube Delta), with departures from Austria (homeports Vienna and Linz) and Romania (Braila).

Itineraries include 9-day Vienna–Black Sea cruises (from EUR 1200 pp), 9-day Black Sea–Vienna (from EUR 1000 pp), 10-day Linz–Black Sea (from EUR 1300 pp), and 10-day Black Sea–Linz (from EUR 1100 pp). Ports visited along the cruisetour route include Ukraine (Vylkove), Romania (Bucharest), Moldova (Giurgiulesti), Bulgaria (Rousse), the Iron Gate, Serbia (Belgrade), and Hungary (Budapest, Puszta, Mohacs-Pecs, Visegrad, Esztergom).
The vessel (ENI number 07001848) is Switzerland-flagged (MMSI 269057249) and registered in Basel. She is also chartered by Thurgau Travel (a Switzerland-based cruise brand).
Cabins
The ship has 35 window cabins on Deck 1 (Grillparzerdeck), each fitted with a fixed, non-opening window located near the ceiling. All other staterooms on Decks 2 and 3 feature French Balconies. These cabins, located on Schillerdeck (category C - Deck 2) and Goethedeck (category D - Deck 3), offer wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows. The vessel has four midship portside Suites. French Balconies are accessed through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. The riverboat has no handicap cabins (wheelchair-accessible rooms) for disabled passengers.
Except for the Suites (which have fixed double beds that can’t be converted to twins), all other cabins are equipped with two Murphy beds — wall-mounted beds that fold away during the day and convert into couches (loveseats/small sofas).

Except for the larger Suites (17 m2 / 180 ft2), all cabins are equally sized at 12 m2 / 130 ft2 and offer standard complimentary amenities: coffee/dining table, mirrored vanity table (writing desk with chair), flat TV, phone (for onboard calls only), wardrobe, electronic safe (in the closet), LED ceiling lights, and an en-suite bathroom (WC, glass-enclosed shower, single-sink vanity, hairdryer, bath products, towels). Each cabin is individually air-conditioned and fitted with 220 V power outlets. Complimentary bottled water (two bottles per cabin) is provided daily. Suites are larger, measuring 17 m2 / 180 ft2.
Shipboard facilities and amenities
MS Nestroy’s main onboard facilities include a Spa (with two massage rooms on Deck 1 midship), a Lobby area (foyer) with a 24-hour Reception Desk and Shop, a Restaurant, and a Panorama Bar Lounge at the bow furnished with modern sofas, armchairs, round tables, and window seating. The aft-located Fitness Center features a glass-walled gym equipped with Technogym machines (free weights, weight bench, indoor cycle trainers, elliptical cross trainer, large wall mirror) and an outdoor terrace seating area. The spacious Sun Deck offers a sunbathing area with loungers and shaded seating beneath retractable awnings (three large canopy covers).

The ship is fully air-conditioned, with individually adjustable cabin temperatures. One elevator connects all cabin decks. Wi-Fi is complimentary and available shipwide. Dining is offered exclusively in the Restaurant, featuring buffet-style breakfasts and lunches and waiter-served dinners with multi-course menus. Beverage service is always available, though all drinks are at an additional cost.
