Review of ReiseRiese Symphony
The 2003-built (as Amadeus Symphony) cruise ship aaa is a 140-passenger riverboat previously owned by the Austrian company and shipowner Luftner Cruises and operated (2022-2023) by the Luftner-owned travel brand Amadeus River Cruises.
In 2024, the ship was acquired by the Dutch Cruise Line (Maasbracht, Netherlands), renamed "Dutch Symphony," and chartered by Phoenix Reisen.
In 2025, the ship was chartered to Der Reise Riese Berlin GmbH (the “Reise Riese” German river cruise travel brand).
Symphony’s sisterships include Amadeus (1997), Amadeus Rhapsody (1998), Amadeus Classic (2001), and Amadeus Royal (2005).

The vessel (ENI number 4802330) is currently Switzerland-flagged (MMSI 269057014) and registered in Basel.
Cabins
MS Amadeus Symphony has 72 staterooms across four decks - Sun Deck and three passenger decks named after famous Austrian composers: Haydn, Mozart, and Strauss.
Most cabins feature French balconies with drop-down panoramic windows.
The four suites, located on the 3rd (Mozart) Deck, are 235 ft² (22 m²) and include French balconies.
All accommodations offer twin beds that can convert into queen-size beds. Additional features include showers, seating areas, cabinets, TVs, and telephones. Suites are equipped with minibars and larger TVs.
Shipboard Facilities
Meals are served in the Panorama Restaurant on Mozart Deck, where guests can enjoy early morning light bites or a later buffet breakfast. Lunch is offered as a standard sit-down meal or buffet, while dinner features five-course gourmet menus with complimentary regional wines. All meals use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Passengers can also enjoy afternoon tea and cake, as well as late-night snacks.
Leisure activities on the Elegant Sun Deck include lounging in deck chairs, a putting green, a giant chessboard, shuffleboard, and a Fun Pool. Additional onboard amenities include a massage room, hairdresser, fitness room, Internet station, Panorama Bar, and the Amadeus Club. During shore excursions, guests have access to complimentary bicycles and wireless audio systems.
