Arielle Royal

The 2005-built (as Amadeus Royal) cruise ship Arielle Royal is a 140-passenger riverboat owned by the Austrian company and shipowner Luftner Cruises and operated through the Luftner-owned travel brand Amadeus River Cruises.

Amadeus Royal was completely refurbished in 2015.

In 2025, the ship was chartered to the Dutch Cruise Line (Netherlands/fleet) and renamed "Arielle Royal".

Royal's sisterships include the fleetmates Amadeus (1997), Amadeus Rhapsody (1998), Amadeus Classic (2001), and Amadeus Symphony (2003).

The vessel (ENI number 4803670) Arielle Royal is currently Holland-flagged (MMSI 244559805), while madeus Royal was Germany-flagged (MMSI 211171550).

Cabins

MS Amadeus Royal has 71 staterooms spread across four decks — the open-air Sun Deck and three passenger decks named after famous Austrian composers: Haydn, Mozart, and Strauss.

Most passenger cabins feature French balconies with drop-down panoramic windows.

The ship's four suites are located on the 3rd (Mozart) Deck. Each suite measures 235 ft² (22 m²) and includes a French balcony.

All accommodations offer twin beds (convertible to queen-size), a private bathroom with shower, a seating area, cabinets, TV, and telephone. Suites additionally feature minibars and larger TVs.

Shipboard Facilities

Meals are served in the Panorama Restaurant on Mozart Deck. Guests can enjoy early morning light bites, buffet breakfasts, sit-down or buffet-style lunches, and five-course gourmet dinners with complimentary regional wines. All meals are prepared using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Afternoon tea and cake service, as well as midnight snacks, are also available.

Guests can relax on the Sun Deck, which offers scenic views, deck chairs, a putting green, giant chessboard, shuffleboard, and a Fun Pool. Other onboard amenities include a massage room, hair salon, fitness room, Internet station, Panorama Bar, and the Amadeus Club.

Complimentary bicycles and wireless audio systems are available for use during onshore excursions.
