Albayzin ferry Review

Review of Albayzin ferry

MV Albayzin ferry is a Ro-Ro passenger vessel operated by the Spanish company TRASMEDITERRANEA. The ship has a maximum capacity of 949 passengers and 172 cars. Launched in 2004, the vessel currently operates on Spain-Canary Islands ferry routes from Cadiz to the Canaries (Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Tenerife), with a crossing time of approximately 40 hours.

Cabins

As a cruise ferry, Albayzin has a total of 400 berths in 2-, 3-, or 4-bed staterooms (inside and outside), all air-conditioned and equipped with en-suite bathrooms. The ferry company provides bed linens, towels, and toiletries. Some staterooms are wheelchair-accessible and adapted for passengers with disabilities.

All passengers must vacate their staterooms 30 minutes prior to arriving at the homeport. Passengers with reduced mobility board the ship first, while those traveling with vehicles disembark last. All Trasmediterranea ships offer reserved seating adapted for passengers with reduced mobility and visual impairments. Common bathrooms onboard are also accessible.

For passengers traveling without a cabin but with reserved seats, the ship provides a dedicated, locked luggage room. The luggage limit is 40 kg (bridge) and 30 kg (seating area).
