Four Seasons 3

The 2031-built (currently on order) Four Seasons III cruise ship (FSY3) is the third and last of identical-design superyachts, representing a total investment of EUR 1.2 billion (EUR 400M per unit). The shipowner is Four Seasons Hotels Ltd, via its subsidiary Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd, operating under the new cruise travel brand (established 2022/inaugurated 2026) Four Seasons Yachts.

The FSY3 vessel (IMO number tba) will be Malta-flagged (MMSI tba) and registered in Valletta.

The first ship, FSY1, was delivered in December 2025 (inaugurated in March 2026), and the second ship, FSY2, is scheduled for April 2028.

History

The parent company, Four Seasons Hotels Ltd (founded 1961, headquartered in Toronto, Canada), is an international hospitality group. In 2007, its majority owners became Bill Gates (71.25% via Cascade Investment LLC/Kirkland, WA, USA) and Al-Waleed bin Talal Saud (23.75% via Kingdom Holding Company/Riyadh, Saudi Arabia).

As of 2023, Four Seasons operates 124 hotels and resorts plus 50 residential properties in 47 countries, along with 50+ projects in development worldwide.

For the 3-yacht project, Four Seasons contracted the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri. The contract was signed on July 11, 2022.

The yacht design was developed by TDoS (Tillberg Design of Sweden), with the deal signed on September 29, 2022. In addition to Four Seasons, TDoS, and Fincantieri, the project partners include Prosper & Martine Assouline (lifestyle brand founded 1994 in Paris, France) and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio/MBDS (founded 2000, London, England). Tillberg designed the exterior and staterooms, while MBDS created the public areas.

The Four Seasons yachts are reminiscent of the former Onassis yacht, now named Christina O (IMO 8963818, MMSI 248383000/Malta-flagged), owned by CHRISTINA LTD PARTNERSHIP (Rarotonga, Cook Islands, New Zealand-based). The 4-story/3-bedroom Funnel Suite structure was inspired by Christina O’s funnel. Other similarities include the mast with satellite equipment and the aft decks with swimming pools. Christina O was originally launched as HMCS Stormont (River-class frigate, pennant K327) and served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WW2 (1939-1945).

Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd (incorporated 2020, Valletta, Malta) is Four Seasons Yachts’ joint owner and operator. It was established by Nadim Ashi (Founder/CEO of Fort Partners LLC, Miami, Florida) and Philip Levine (Co-Owner of Starboard Cruise Services).

Larry Pimentel is President and CEO of Four Seasons Yachts, while Nadim Ashi and Philip Levine serve as Co-Executive Chairmen.

The Miami-based Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd manages sales, marketing, marine and technical operations, crewing, and deployment/itinerary planning for the fleet.

Launched in 2026, the ultra-luxury brand Four Seasons Yachts introduced Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts’ renowned personalized service to the seas.

These superyacht voyages offer a unique opportunity to enjoy the brand’s luxury resort lifestyle at sea.

The travel experience features the industry’s highest crew-to-passenger ratio, exotic itineraries (with the option of back-to-back cruises), extended port times, late departures, and overnight stays for deeper destination immersion.

Four Seasons Yachts’ main competitor is The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Decks and Cabins

Four Seasons III staterooms (79 total) are all suites, located outside with step-out balconies/terrace sundecks. About 60% measure 76 m2/820 ft2 (indoor + outdoor).

Each suite features floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and direct access to a private terrace with padded furniture and low tables. Ceiling height is ~2.4 m/8 ft.

Designed as residential-style apartments, some suites are multi-level, and most are adjoining, allowing the creation of villa-like residences at sea.

Each stateroom is custom-designed and costs approx. US$4.2 million to build.

The largest accommodation is the 4-level Funnel Suite, spanning decks 11, 12, 14, and 15, built around the smokestacks. It measures 922 m2/9925 ft2, including 501 m2/5395 ft2 indoors and 421 m2/4530 ft2 outdoors, with a terrace featuring a wading pool. The Quadplex Suite also includes a private spa and a top-deck sundeck. The Funnel Suite’s top floor is the ship’s highest point.

Other large suites include the Loft Suite (duplex/739 m2/7950 ft2), Portofino Suite (392 m2/4220 ft2), Malaga Suite (191 m2/2055 ft2), Saint-Tropez Suite (162 m2/1745 ft2), Milos Suite (152 m2/1635 ft2), and St Barths Suite (147 m2/1530 ft2). The yacht also has 16 Grand Ocean Suites (94-106 m2), 15 Ocean Suites (83-94 m2), 15 Superior Seaview Suites (75-83 m2), and 42 Seaview Suites (50-57 m2).

Signature Suites feature 2-3 bedrooms, a living room, indoor and outdoor dining areas (6-8 seats), and a private sundeck with splash pool and outdoor shower. They can connect to adjoining cabins to host 8-20 guests.

All bathrooms are marble-finished with walk-in showers, double vanities, and bathtubs.

Adjoining suites have modular walls, offering vertical and horizontal combinations. The design (by Tillberg Design of Sweden/TDoS) enables 100+ connection options, including reserving an entire deck side or up to 1200 m2/13,000 ft2 of living space for private or corporate charters.

The second and third ships (FSY2 and FSY3) have the new "Yacht Residential Suite" (connecting cabin) type available in two categories: Seaview Suite with Studio, and Ocean Suite with Studio. Located on decks 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, these 12x combined staterooms feature 2 bedrooms and are designed to accommodate families, larger groups, and multigenerational travelers.

The ship has 14 decks, 10 of which house cabins.

There are 5 passenger elevators (lifts) and multiple internal and external staircases.

Shipboard Facilities and Amenities

The yacht offers 11 dining and lounge venues, all with floor-to-ceiling windows. Menus are curated by Four Seasons’ chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists. Dining experiences are delivered by expert culinary teams.

Breakfast is complimentary daily, while other dining and bar services are à la carte. Children’s menus are available, with kids aged 5 and under dining free.

Restaurants include Terrasse (Mediterranean), Miuna (16-seat omakase), Pistachio (food bar/patisserie), and Sedna (specialty restaurant, surcharge). Sedna’s menu changes seasonally and by region, featuring dishes by Four Seasons chefs and guest partners, with wine pairings curated by sommeliers.

The yacht offers ~50% more living space per passenger compared to other ultra-premium all-suite ships.

The multi-deck Atrium’s lower level hosts the Lobby Hall (with bar), Guest Services Desk (24-hour Reception and Tour Desk), and the Cruise Director’s Office.

The Deck 4 wellness complex includes Gym/fitness and spa facilities (Thermal Suite, Relaxation Lounge, Saunas, Treatment Rooms), Beauty Salon, and men’s/women’s Locker Rooms. Four Seasons experts provide fitness, health, and nutrition programs. The salon offers manicures, pedicures, nail treatments, hairdressing, and barber services. Deck 4 also houses the Kids & Teens facility (indoor playground).

At the stern, Deck 5 hosts the industry’s largest Pool Deck with shaded seating and a 20 m/66 ft swimming pool (Piscina Pool), served by Bar Piscine. In the evenings, the Pool Deck becomes an outdoor cinema, beach club, or alfresco dining venue, also available for private events.

Deck 5 also includes a premium Boutique retail shop selling jewelry, watches, cosmetics, fashion, and accessories.

Deck 6’s aft sundeck features a Champagne & Caviar terrace for alfresco dining and parties. Midship-aft are the Private Dining Room, Bar O, and Cigar Lounge.

Deck 11 offers a second pool with sunbathing space and the Horizon Lounge, served by Horizon Bar.

The transversal Yacht Marina spans port to starboard, giving direct access to four “sea limousines” (Ferretti RIVA tenders) for shore transfers and to watersports equipment (snorkeling, scuba diving, jet-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, open-sea swimming in a net-enclosed area). The Marina also hosts alfresco dining (weather permitting) and is served by the Marina Bar.

The ship’s “Lead With Care” program ensures guest safety and well-being. The Medical Center/Infirmary is equipped with modern facilities and staffed 24/7 by doctors and nurses.

Itineraries

In March 2024, Four Seasons released voyage details (regions, destinations, homeports, call ports). In July, 41 cruises were opened for booking.

The maiden season (2026) covered Southern Europe/Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

The inaugural season (Jan-Mar 2026) visited 130+ ports in 30+ Caribbean countries/territories, mostly on 7-night cruises. Destinations included Saint Barthélemy (Gustavia), the Grenadines (Mayreau, Bequia), Nevis (Charlestown), St Lucia (Marigot Bay, Rodney Bay, Soufrière Bay, Tobago Cays), Barbados (Bridgetown, Speightstown), Dominica, Martinique (Le Marin, Pointe du Bout, Fort-de-France), Antigua (Falmouth), Guadeloupe (Îles des Saintes), Sint Maarten (Philipsburg), BVI (Peter Island), Aruba (Oranjestad), and Curaçao (Willemstad).

European itineraries (launched in March 2026) visited Gibraltar, the Adriatic (Italy, Croatia, Montenegro), Western Mediterranean (Portugal, Spain), and Aegean (Greece, Turkey). Greek Isles cruises include Athens (Piraeus), Santorini, Milos, Paros, Ios, Mykonos, and Hydra.

Initially, inaugural cruises were announced as invitation-only, with fares starting from USD 2500/EUR 2300/GBP 2000 per person per night (double occupancy).

All Four Seasons cruises are customizable and can be extended with pre- and post-cruise land stays at Four Seasons hotels and resorts.
