GNV Majestic ferry is a Ro-Ro passenger vessel operated by the Italy-based company GRANDI NAVI VELOCI. The ship has a maximum capacity of 1790 passengers and 760 cars or 120 trucks (semi-trailers). The vessel was launched in 1993 and currently operates on the Spain-Morocco ferry route Barcelona-Tangier (crossing time 32 hours).
Cabins
As a cruise ferry, GNV Majestic has 362 cabins (including 19 Suites) with a total of 1281 berths. All staterooms are air-conditioned and feature en-suite bathrooms (toilet/shower/washbasin, hairdryer). Suites additionally offer amenities such as TV (satellite reception), radio, mini-bar, and large porthole windows. Double suites are designed for 2 guests (with 1 double bed). Family suites accommodate 3 guests (1 double bed + 1 sofabed). Cots for children under 2 years are available upon request.
The ferry company provides bed linens, towels, and toiletries. Two staterooms are wheelchair-accessible (adapted for disabled passengers). There are also "pet-friendly" cabins.
All passengers must vacate their staterooms 30 minutes prior to homeport arrival.

Facilities on the GNV Majestic include:

- Reserved Seating Lounges with Pullman seats and fully reclining leather armchairs.
- Shopping Centre with boutique stores offering discounted gifts and souvenirs, alcohol (wines, spirits), tobacco, perfumes, cosmetics, jewelry, fashion clothing and accessories, watches, sunglasses, hygiene products, travel essentials, confectionery, snacks, toys, puzzles, books, and magazines.
- Free Wi-Fi and an ATM/cash machine (next to the Information Desk/Reception).
The vessel also offers extensive outdoor deck space. The top deck features a Heli Deck with a helipad (for emergency use only).
Emergency instructions are displayed in staterooms, on TV screens, and at assembly/muster stations. Life jackets are issued at the assembly stations. In emergencies, elevators/passenger lifts must not be used.
GRANDI NAVI VELOCI cruise deals
Like cruise ships, all GNV ferries offer cabins with modern amenities, individually controlled air-conditioning, and en-suite facilities. Some suites feature private balconies.
Occasionally, the largest GNV ships are also deployed for Mediterranean mini-cruises, especially during Christmas and New Year holidays.
- Dining includes a wide variety of options. A La Carte restaurants combine international, regional, and Mediterranean cuisine with signature dishes. The Self-Service/Buffet provides casual dining with multiple choices. Snack Bars serve fast-food favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. - Boutique shops sell tobacco, alcohol (budget and premium wines and spirits), luxury-brand perfumes and cosmetics, designer jewelry, watches, clothing, accessories, sunglasses, souvenirs, and toys at discounted prices.
- The onboard Conference Centre supports the company’s “GNV MICE and INCENTIVE” program, offering five formats for meetings and events: Full Charters, Part Charters (dedicated onboard areas), Mini-Cruises, Floating Hotel (ship-hotel use), and Corporate Events (onboard aperitifs, lunches, and dinners).
Children under 4 years travel free of charge on all GNV ships. Kids under 2 years travel free on Tunisia and Morocco routes.
Cots, high chairs, bottle warmers, changing tables, and cot sides are available on request and free of charge.

Car decks
Car deck safety procedures include:
- Disabled passengers or those needing assistance should visit the Information Desk (open 24 hours).
- Apply the handbrake and leave the vehicle in park or 1st gear. Switch off ignition, alarms, electrical equipment, and headlights. Shut off gas cylinders (if any). Lock the vehicle.
- Take only valuables and essential hand baggage with you.
- Note your vehicle’s location and garage deck number/stairway before leaving.
- Access to vehicle decks is prohibited during the voyage.
- Smoking on vehicle decks, as well as in cabins and lounges, is strictly forbidden.
- Wait for the onboard announcement before returning to your vehicle.
To reduce air pollution, do not start the engine until instructed.
