Car decks
As freight, GRIMALDI ships allow transportation of semi-trailers, lorries (with or without drivers), cars, motorcycles (only as freight, without drivers), caravans, camper vans (without drivers), cargo containers, mobile machinery, boats (on cradle), and industrial products.
The ferry has 3 garage decks (for vehicles) accessible via 1 bow and 1 stern ramp (length 18.5 m / 61 ft, width 6.5 m / 21 ft). The aft cargo deck passage is 6.5 m (21 ft) wide and 5.2 m (17 ft) high. The bow ramp is 14 m (46 ft) long and 19.5 m (64 ft) wide. The cargo deck passage is 20 m (66 ft) wide and 5.2 m (17 ft) high.
All vehicle decks are connected via ramps. The lower garage deck (for trucks and freight) has 5 lanes/tracks, while the middle and upper decks (car decks) have 7 lanes each. The middle car deck is divided by longitudinal bulkheads into 3 sections, which increases its vehicle capacity. The above 3 decks are for passenger facilities.
Follows a list of car-deck–related safety procedures:
- Disabled passengers or those requiring specific assistance should visit the ship’s Information Desk (open 24 hours).
- Apply the handbrake and place the vehicle in Park or 1st gear. Switch off the ignition, alarm, electrical equipment, and headlights. Gas cylinders, if any, must be switched off. Lock the vehicle.

- Access to the ship’s vehicle (cargo) decks during the voyage is prohibited.
- Smoking on vehicle decks, as well as in cabins and passenger lounges, is forbidden.
- Wait for the onboard announcement before returning to your vehicle.
To avoid air pollution, do not start the engine until instructed.

Euroferry Corfu Wiki
The ferry is the second in a 4-ship series of sisterships (Seapacer-Class). It was ordered by STENA LINE on October 6, 1995, and delivered on October 5, 1999. Upon delivery, she was sold to Poseidon Schiffahrt AG (Finnlines) and arrived in Travemunde-Lubeck on October 14.
The ship is powered by four SULZER marine diesel engines (8-cylinder, model 8ZAL40S) with a combined output of 23 MW. The propulsion system consists of a gearbox, two shafts with controllable-pitch propellers, and one bow thruster. The three gensets (diesel generator sets) provide a total output of 3.84 MW.
She has an ice-strengthened hull (ice class 1A), allowing year-round operations on Baltic Sea routes in severe ice conditions without icebreaker assistance. The ferry is also fitted with stabilizers and an anti-heeling system, which maintains stability during loading by automatically detecting the heeling angle and compensating with a water pump system.
The vessel previously operated under the names Stena Seapacer II (1998-1999, owned by STENA LINE), Finneagle (1999-2017, owned by FINNLINES), and Euroferry Corfu (since October 2017, owned by Grimaldi Group). She was deployed on the Finland-Aland-Sweden route Naantali-Langnas-Kapellskar (November 1999 - April 2009, and October 2015-2017), Germany-Sweden route Travemunde-Malmo (2009-2015), Germany-Finland route Travemunde-Helsinki (2015-2016), and Italy-Spain-Morocco route Savona-Barcelona-Tangier (2016-2017). Since December 7, 2017, she has been operating on the Italy-Greece route Brindisi-Igoumenitsa-Patras.
On October 4, 2017, it was announced that Finneagle had been sold to Grimaldi Group (the vessel's previous charterer since June 2017). For the period 2018-2023, the ship was renamed from "Euroferry Corfu" to "MS Vizzavona" and re-flagged from Sweden (MMSI 265740000) to France (MMSI 228358800).
