MS Viking Princess

The 2009-built MS Viking Princess is a top-luxury hotel ship (Nile River cruise ship) holding the renowned “Cristal International Standards” certificate for hygiene and quality. The vessel is owned by Viking Princess Cruises Ltd and operated under the brand Viking Princess Cruise Line Egypt. This premium riverboat has a passenger capacity of 116 (plus 50 crew/staff) and provides the highest standards of hospitality, offering exceptional service, a dining room restaurant, stylish public areas, a spacious lounge bar, and other deluxe amenities.

The Viking Princess has a total of 58 staterooms, including 4 suites and 54 cabins. The vessel boasts some of the most spacious accommodations available on ships cruising the Nile River. Each stateroom is reasonably sized and outward-facing. Decorated in traditional wood with quality furnishings, they all feature air-conditioning, twin beds, an en-suite bathroom (with bathtub and shower), mini-bar (fridge), hairdryer, HDTV, wardrobe, and electronic safe box.

Fully refurbished in 2009, the ship offers a large sundeck area with a plunge pool and shaded spaces. Professional Egyptologists are always onboard to host evening entertainment and guide sightseeing tours ashore. Passengers are generally 45+, mainly British and European.

The ship’s restaurant is spacious yet comfortable and located on the middle deck. The lounge bar offers a selection of drinks and provides a pleasant place to relax and enjoy evening entertainment, which includes a Galabeya party and traditional Egyptian belly dancing. The swimming pool on the top deck is the ideal spot for a refreshing dip during the hot days. A pool bar serves drinks, and premium sunbeds are available for guests to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Nile River.
