MS River Adagio

MS River Adagio entered service for GCCL – Grand Circle Cruise Line in 2003. The vessel (ENI number 07000183) was specifically designed to navigate the widest stretches of the Danube River all the way to the Black Sea. She is owned by Grand Circle Corporation through its subsidiary Grand Circle Travel USA, a Boston MA-based travel agency.

The 164-passenger riverboat has 4 decks (3 with cabins) and 82 outside staterooms, each measuring 15 m2 / 160 ft2. All cabins feature double occupancy with two twin beds, an electronic safe (in the closet), an en-suite bathroom (WC and shower, hairdryer), individual air conditioning, a direct-dial phone (intercom), and a flat-screen TV with satellite reception.

At 125 m in length, River Adagio is one of the largest vessels in the Grand Circle fleet. Amenities include a bar lounge, a forward panoramic salon with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a reception hall with a dining room (single open seating) and a library. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the reception area, library, bar, and lounge.

The Sun Deck features a fitness area with a sauna, steam room, and whirlpool. Passengers aboard River Adagio are typically 45+ Europeans and Americans.
