MS River Harmony

MS River Harmony entered service for GCCL – Grand Circle Cruise Line in 1999. The vessel (ENI number 07001721) was specifically designed to navigate the widest section of the Danube River all the way to the Black Sea. She is owned by Grand Circle Corporation through its subsidiary Grand Circle Travel USA, a Boston MA-headquartered travel agency.

Sisterships include the similarly designed VistaBelle (2000/Viking Burgundy), Crucestar (2000/Viking Rhone), River Rhapsody (1999), MS Vivienne (2001/River Concerto), and MS Aurora (built 1999, refitted 2020, MMSI 244660956, ENI 02002173).

The vessel is Malta-flagged (MMSI 256897000, registered in Valletta) and accommodates up to 140 passengers (plus 34 crew/staff). She has four decks (three with cabins) and 70 staterooms, all equally sized at 15 m2 / 160 ft2. All cabins are outside and offer double occupancy (2 twin beds), an electronic safe box (in the closet), en-suite bathroom (WC/shower, hairdryer), individual air-conditioning, direct-dial phone (intercom), and HDTV with satellite reception.

The ship features a bar lounge (a forward panoramic salon with floor-to-ceiling windows), a lobby hall with Reception Desk and Shop, a Library, and a Dining Room Restaurant with single open seating. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the reception area, library, bar, and lounge. The Sun Deck offers a fitness area with a sauna. Most passengers onboard River Harmony are 45+ Europeans and Americans.
