FINNLINES cruise deals offer free travel for the third and fourth passengers in a quad cabin with two adults (in one booking). On the Finland-Germany routes, neither recliner seats nor shared cabin beds can be booked for children under 13 years old.

Except on Finland-Sweden routes, meals are not included in the fares. Discounted dining packages can be purchased upon booking. Meals can also be purchased separately onboard. Meal prices include drinks (water, milk, juice, coffee, tea). On Finland-Germany routes, the "Dinner Superior" package includes, in addition to water, milk, juice, coffee, and tea, draught beer, wine by the glass, and selected soft drinks.

Europalink ferry Wiki

Europalink is the fourth vessel in the GRIMALDI GROUP’s series of five Star-class ferries built by the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri. She was delivered in March 2007. All these Ro-Pax ships were originally ordered for FINNLINES to serve Baltic Sea routes between Finland and Germany (Helsinki-Travemunde) and Sweden and Germany (Malmo-Travemunde). All Star-class ferries have ice-strengthened hulls (classed "1A Super"), allowing them to operate in freezing waters without icebreaker assistance.

Star-Class ferry (FINNLINES)

The powerplant consists of four Wartsila marine diesel engines (model 9L46D, 5-cylinder) with a total power output of 48 MW. The vessel has a cargo capacity of 4215 lanemeters and can also carry refrigerated containers (reefers) with a maximum capacity of 192 TEUs.

Under the name "Finnlady," Fincantieri delivered the ship to FINNLINES on March 5, 2007. She arrived at her homeport Malmo, Sweden, on March 24 and commenced service from Malmo on March 30 with her maiden voyage to Travemunde. Between 2012 and 2017, the ferry was deployed in the Mediterranean, operating the Italy-Greece route Ancona-Igoumenitsa-Patras. During this period, she was part of the MINOAN LINES fleet, joining the sisterships Cruise Europa and Cruise Olympia on the Greece-Italy service.

In 2013, FINNLINES sold the vessel to the GRIMALDI GROUP (parent company). Since 2018, she has been operated by GRIMALDI LINES (a subsidiary of Grimaldi Group). Following the acquisition by GRIMALDI GROUP on January 26, 2018, Europalink entered drydock in mid-March 2018 for an extensive refurbishment and upgrade. The project included the renovation of all cabins and public areas, hull painting, and the installation of scrubbers (marine exhaust gas cleaning systems).

In October 2021, FINNLINES announced the redeployment of Europalink from the Malmo-Travemunde (Sweden-Germany) route to the Kapellskar-Langnas Aland-Naantali (Sweden-Finland) route, replacing Finnfellow. The service, which started on January 27, 2022, also included Finnswan, offering a total of 14 weekly crossings.
