The RV La Marguerite cruises on the Mekong River (Vietnam and Cambodia), operating year-round between the homeports of Saigon (Vietnam) and Siem Reap (Cambodia). La Marguerite offers all-inclusive Mekong Delta cruise packages in Vietnam and Cambodia. The vessel is currently chartered by Travelmarvel.

Travelmarvel (the vessel’s charterer) specializes in value-focused luxury river cruises in Asia and Europe. The brand is owned by APT River Cruises (Australia) and has expanded significantly in recent years. Today, Travelmarvel operates tours and cruises across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and Africa. Cruise prices vary by itinerary and include meals and beverages, port charges, accommodations, shore excursions, live entertainment, Cruise Director services, gratuities, domestic flights, and bus transfers. Also included are exclusive Insider Experiences, allowing travelers to “live like a local” and gain authentic insights into regional cultures and traditions.

The riverboat’s interior is designed in a French colonial boutique style, reflecting the elegance of the Art Nouveau era. Décor features colonial furnishings, handcrafted local artwork, and regional artifacts. Gourmet dining, personalized service, and destination-focused shore excursions (included in the fare) further enhance the signature Southeast Asia river cruising experience.

• Approximately 80% of outside cabins feature private balconies.
• Luxury Suites – STE (2 units, Deck 3), size 425 ft² / 39 m²
• Junior Suites – JR (6 units, Deck 3), size 290 ft² / 27 m²
• Balcony Staterooms – Category A (14 units, Deck 2) and Category B (16 units, Deck 1), size 226 ft² / 21 m²
• RiverView Staterooms – Category C (8 units, Mekong Deck), size 226 ft² / 21 m²
• All staterooms feature twin beds, wardrobe, writing desk, sofa, mini-bar, safe, TV, telephone, and private bathroom with shower, plus hairdryer, kimono, and slippers.

River Cruise Itineraries

La Marguerite is currently operated by Travelmarvel on Mekong itineraries (southbound and northbound) between Saigon and Siem Reap. Featured itineraries include:

• 16-day “Vietnam and Cambodia – The Riches of the Mekong” cruise-tour package, including a flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap/Angkor Wat, overland travel to Kampong for embarkation, and a Mekong cruise to Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon. The program includes a 2-night stay in Hanoi, 1 night in Ha Long Bay, 3 nights in Siem Reap, and concludes with a 2-night stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
• 8-day Mekong Delta cruise visiting the following ports: Saigon, My Tho, Cai Be District, Vinh Long, Sa Dec, Tan Chau, Phnom Penh, Chong Koh, Oudong, Kampong Tralach, Kampong Chhnang, Tonle Sap Lake, Siem Reap, and return cruising through Tonle Sap and Vinh Long.
