Safari Quest

The 1992-built MV Safari Quest cruise ship is currently owned and operated by UnCruise Adventures USA. The vessel underwent an extensive drydock refurbishment in 2013.

Like all UnCruise ships, Safari Quest (IMO number 8669711) is USA-flagged (MMSI 338891000) and is crewed entirely by Americans.

History - construction and ownership

The 22-passenger Safari Quest features a navy-blue hull and offers a refined onboard atmosphere, similar to other UnCruise vessels, combining expedition-style cruising with luxury.

UnCruise Adventures (formerly American Safari Cruises) is a USA-based, wholly owned cruise company and a subsidiary of InnerSea Discoveries Alaska. In 2013, American Safari Cruises was rebranded as "UnCruise Adventures." The company maintains two headquarters: its main office in Seattle WA and a second office in Juneau AK.

Shipboard facilities and amenities

The yacht Safari Quest has 11 cabins (in 4 categories), all oceanview and equipped with private heated bathrooms. There are four Balcony Suites.

Onboard venues include a Salon (bar lounge), Wine Library, and dining room (complimentary restaurant). The yacht can easily access areas that larger vessels cannot and provides passengers with complimentary adventure equipment, including paddleboards, kayaks, inflatable skiffs (speedboats), a hydrophone, and an underwater camera (linked to the yacht’s lounge and cabin TVs). The spa area features an on-deck hot tub (Alaska itineraries only), fitness equipment, a sauna, and a complimentary massage. Additional amenities include a Sun Lounge, Lounge, Bar, and Library.
