VIVA Ruby Review
Review of VIVA Ruby
The 2002-built (as Swiss Ruby) cruise ship VIVA Ruby was christened in April (2002) in Rheinfelden, Baden-Wurttemberg Germany. The boat's godmother was HRH Maja Synke (Princess of Hohenzollern).
The vessel (ENI number 7001742) is currently Switzerland-flagged (MMSI 269057146) and registered in Basel.
Swiss Ruby was Scylla fleet's 10th member, with sistership Saxonia. The 90-passenger riverboat is owned by Scylla AG (via Scylla Cruises) and currently operated under charter by VIVA Cruises, a Scylla-owned subsidiary and travel brand.
Swiss Ruby was exclusively chartered to the German cruisetour company Phoenix Reisen.

Cabins
The ship has 44 double cabins, all outside, with included amenities: TV, radio, electronic safe box (in the closet), minibar, individually controlled air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom (washbasin, shower, WC, hairdryer).
All cabins on Ruby Deck have French Balconies.
Shipboard facilities
The entrance hall with Reception and a lobby lounge with a panoramic bar and dance floor are located on the Ruby Deck.
The Restaurant and the Boutique Shop are on Emerald Deck.
