MV Hedy Lamarr ferry (fka Visemar One) is a Ro-Ro passenger vessel owned and operated by the Spanish company BALEARIA. The ship has a maximum capacity of 600 passengers and 74 cars. Launched in 2010, she currently operates on the ferry route Barcelona/Valencia-Palma de Mallorca (crossing time ~7.5 hours).

Cabins

As a cruise ferry, Hedy Lamarr has a total of 70 cabins (3-berth and 4-berth) with configurations of 2 twin beds plus 1 or 2 bunk beds. All staterooms are air-conditioned and feature en-suite bathrooms. The company provides bed linens, towels, and toiletries. Wheelchair-accessible cabins (adapted for passengers with reduced mobility) are also available.

The ship's Reserved Seating Lounge (Neptune Lounge) is equipped with a large TV and reclining Pullman seats (comfortable, fully reclining leather armchairs). • Solarium (sundeck sunbathing area).

Pet Cages – upon booking, passengers must select cage type. Two options are available: small cages (50–75 cm, pets under 30 kg) and large cages (70–90 cm, pets over 30 kg). Passengers may also bring their own carriers. Cage prices range from EUR 3–10 depending on the route. Valid pet health cards are required. Pets must remain in cages/carriers during the voyage. During embarkation and disembarkation, dogs must be leashed and muzzled. Passengers with pets disembark last.

Entreolas by Balearia Magazine is a free onboard magazine featuring travel, lifestyle, culture, sports, fashion, music, cuisine, and company news. Wi-Fi and Internet are available at extra cost. Mobile phone chargers and iPad rentals are also offered.

All Balearia ships are equipped with CCTV cameras. Smoking indoors is prohibited.

Car decks

All vehicles must carry documentation and valid insurance. Providing the vehicle’s technical data sheet speeds up boarding. Upon booking, passengers must specify the vehicle’s model, length, and height. Car ferry passengers should arrive at the port 90 minutes prior to departure.

All Balearia ships provide a hold for bikes. Bicycles, mopeds, and motorbikes up to 125 ccs travel free of charge (must be indicated when booking).

Special vehicles (height over 3 m / 10 ft) must be booked via the company’s Call Center (902 160 180).

Car deck safety procedures:

• Passengers requiring assistance must visit the ship’s Information Desk.
• Apply handbrake, leave the vehicle in park or 1st gear, switch off ignition, alarm, electrical equipment, and headlights. Gas cylinders must be closed. Lock the vehicle.
• Take only valuables and essential hand baggage.
• Note your vehicle’s location and garage deck/stairway before leaving the car deck.
• Access to car decks during the voyage is prohibited.
• Smoking on vehicle decks, in cabins, and lounges is forbidden.
• Wait for announcements before returning to your vehicle.
• Do not start engines until instructed to reduce emissions.
