Cabins
A-Rosa Viva has a total of 99 cabins (including 70 with French Balconies and 29 with non-opening windows) across four categories. The “Juliet Balcony” staterooms feature two floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open inward, providing panoramic river views. The highest category staterooms are the French Balcony type. There are no Suites on A-Rosa Viva.

Arosa Viva Wiki
The A-Rosa Viva river ship belongs to the same vessel class as the A-Rosa Aqua and Brava. Each vessel is powered by four energy-efficient Volvo Penta diesel engines (model D12-450MH), delivering a total output of 1320 kW / 1800 HP. In addition, each ship is equipped with two auxiliary diesel generators and one diesel generator for port operations. Propulsion is provided by Schottel systems, including one bow thruster (type SPJ 82) and four rudder propellers (type STP 200, twin propellers).
The ship's wheelhouse (bridge) and the top deck awnings are designed to be lowered for safe passage under low bridges. A-Rosa Viva also offers complimentary bicycles for use during shore excursions at each port of call.
A-Rosa Viva was launched on March 26, 2010. The ship was christened in Basel, Switzerland, by Amanda Ammann, winner of the “Miss Switzerland 2007” contest. In the week leading up to the naming ceremony, the vessel traveled under its own power via the North Sea-Baltic Canal from Rostock to Cologne (Koln-Deutz port), where final outfitting was completed. During the March 2010 transfer, the ship was protected with wood paneling.
