The most recent vessel in Princess' crown and the line's last new-build to launch for the time being is Ruby Princess cruise ship, a sister vessel to Emerald Princess cruise ship and Crown Princess. For the most part, Ruby Princess isn't an innovator. The cruise liner has all the most popular Princess facilities - like the 3-deck Piazza with its on-site bakery and whimsical amusement - of its nearly identic siblings, as well as many of those found on older vessels, including the Sanctuary sun deck for adults and specialty eateries Sabatini's and Crown Grill.

But although there are not too many surprises on this newest vessel, there are some gentle improvements and enhancements. On Ruby cruise ship, Princess has expanded the appeal of the Wheelhouse Bar, its pub-like facility, to include casual, English-inspired lunches. Suite guests now have the option to enjoy intimate breakfasts in Sabatini's, and the new Ultimate Ship Tour affords guests the possibilities to explore spaces of the cruise which are normally never seen, such as the engine control room, the funnel, the photo lab and the bridge. Expanded ScholarShip@Sea projects like Mixology@Sea that allows travelers to experiment with their bartending skills, and Navigation@Sea, where the ins and outs of navigating a cruise vessel are taught, enrich the experience on the board of Ruby Princess cruise ship.
