Review of MS Saxonia

After her formal naming in Hamburg, the 89-passenger MS Saxonia started cruises in July 2001 and sails a wide range of routes. The ship is suitable for almost all European waterways because of her small dimensions. Equally, ms Saxonia meets the safety requirements to sail in coastal waters, which is why she is frequently used in northern Germany. MS Saxonia is the sister ship of ms Swiss DiamondPearlRuby and Crystal.

The 269-feet ms Saxonia is classically elegant and meets the highest standards. The Ruby deck houses the reception, reading areas with games and books, the lounge and the panoramic bar. On the Emerald deck, passengers are offered a varied cuisine in the comfortable restaurant, and can find nice souvenirs in the boutique. The international crew ensures guests have a relaxing voyage.

All cabins on ms Saxonia face outward. On the Ruby deck, they have a large panoramic window, and on the Emerald deck a couple of slightly smaller windows. All cabins have twin beds, flat-screen TV, radio, safe, minibar, air conditioning, hair dryer and a separate shower with WC. The cabin converts into a cozy lounge during the day.
