RV Mekong Prestige II Review
Review of RV Mekong Prestige II
RV Mekong Prestige II cruises on the Mekong River in Cambodia and Vietnam. The vessel is a French-Vietnamese joint venture river cruise ship launched in 2013. This riverboat is exclusively chartered by the UK-based company Riviera Travel.

The ship represents a combination of elegant design and regional Khmer accents. She offers 32 beautifully decorated and comfortable cabins designed to provide maximum comfort and satisfaction. Of these, 28 cabins and suites feature private French balconies. Large windows and sliding glass doors allow passengers to fully enjoy the scenic river views.
With an experienced crew and friendly staff, guests can join carefully selected itineraries that explore the natural wonders of the Mekong River. Highlights include floating villages, colorful markets, and countless small boats navigating this mighty waterway. To fully appreciate the unique scenery of the Mekong Delta, Mekong Prestige II provides ideal conditions for relaxation and enjoyment throughout the voyage.
The ship features a Sun Deck spanning the entire top deck, offering impressive panoramic views of the Mekong River in Vietnam and Cambodia. It is equipped with a whirlpool and deckchairs where guests can leisurely sip their favorite cocktails while watching the passing scenery. The spacious restaurant provides a comfortable atmosphere to savor a variety of Western and Asian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. All local drinks are included throughout the voyage. Onboard facilities also include two massage salons, a Fitness Room, and an indoor lounge bar.
The onboard currency is USD ($), though Vietnamese Dong is also accepted. English and German are the official languages onboard. Daily excursions and tours with English-speaking guides are included complimentary at each port of call.
Laptops and mobile phones function along the entire route; however, international communications rely on satellite connections and can be expensive. In case of emergency, guests may use the riverboat’s phone. Wi-Fi is available in the Main Lounge.
