Amadeus Silver III

The 2016-built Amadeus Silver III cruise ship is a 170-passenger riverboat owned by the Austrian company and shipowner Luftner Cruises and operated via the Luftner-owned travel brand Amadeus River Cruises.

Like her sisterships Amadeus Silver 2 (2015) and Amadeus Imperial (2020), Amadeus Silver 3 cruises on the Moselle, Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.

The vessel (ENI number 2336694) is currently Germany-flagged (MMSI 211716770) and registered in Cologne.

Cabins

MS Amadeus Silver 3 has 84 staterooms distributed across four decks: the open-air Sun Deck and three interior passenger decks named after famous Austrian composers—Haydn, Mozart, and Strauss.

The riverboat offers 12 Amadeus Suites (27 m², with step-out balconies), 54 French Balcony cabins (18 m²), and 18 Window cabins (18 m², with non-opening windows).

All staterooms feature twin beds (convertible to a queen-size double bed), mirrored vanity table with chair, wardrobe, electronic safe (in the closet), direct-dial telephone, flat-screen TV, seating area (two armchairs with a round coffee/dining table), floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows (sliding open to a French balcony), and en-suite bathrooms with a toilet, single-sink vanity, shower, and hairdryer.

Suites additionally include fully stocked minibars (not complimentary), a corner sofa (daybed), walk-in wardrobe, and a step-out balcony.

Shipboard Facilities and Amenities

All meals are served in the Panorama Restaurant (located forward on Strauss Deck 2), which offers light bites (early breakfast) and buffet-style breakfast. Lunch is either buffet-style or waiter-served, while dinners are 5-course gourmet meals with complimentary regional wines. All ingredients are locally sourced and seasonal. Guests can also enjoy Afternoon Tea & Cake, midnight snacks, and a 24-hour coffee/tea station.

The best place onboard for leisure is the Sun Deck (Deck 4), offering panoramic river views, ample seating (deckchairs, sun loungers, shaded areas with retractable awnings), a putting green (mini-golf course), Giant Chessboard, Shuffleboard, and the Lido Bar serving light snacks and beverages.

The Sun Deck’s forward-located Navigation Bridge (called the "Wheelhouse" on riverboats) is passenger-accessible and telescopic (can be lowered to pass under low bridges).

In 2023, the Sun Deck was upgraded with the fleet’s first Pickleball Court.

• Panorama Lounge & Bar (Mozart Deck 3 forward): Show lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, and a full-service bar. It hosts enrichment activities such as port talks, destination-themed lectures, media presentations, themed parties, crew shows, and live music and dance performances by local artists.
• Amadeus Club (Mozart Deck 3 aft): A stylish wine bar with Internet stations, also serving as the ship’s library.
• Cafe Vienna (Mozart Deck 3 midship): A bakery/patisserie and coffee house offering Austrian specialty coffees, fresh-baked cakes, tarts, light pastries, and gourmet desserts.
• River Terrace (Mozart Deck 3 bow): A glass-shielded, wind- and rain-protected outdoor lounge accessible via the Panorama Lounge or stairs from the Sun Deck.
• Spa (massage room), Hair Salon (hairdresser), and Gym (fitness room).

The ship does not feature a swimming pool or outdoor Jacuzzi. A passenger elevator connects all cabin decks. Wi-Fi is available shipwide for an additional fee. Complimentary bicycles (stored on the Sun Deck) and wireless audio systems are provided for all shore excursions.
