Amadeus Provence

The 2017-built Amadeus Provence cruise ship is a 140-passenger riverboat owned by the Austrian company and shipowner Luftner Cruises and operated via the Luftner-owned travel brand Amadeus River Cruises.

Constructed by the Dutch shipbuilder De Hoop (in Lobith, Netherlands), this boat was designed specifically for cruises in France, on the rivers Saone and Rhone.

The ship is owned by the German travel company Luftner (Lueftner) Cruises and often chartered by Saga Cruises (UK).

The vessel (ENI number 2337162) is currently Germany-flagged (MMSI 211754910) and registered in Cologne.

Cabins

MS Amadeus Provence has 70 staterooms and four decks - Sun Deck and 3 passenger decks named after famous Austrian composers - Haydn, Mozart, and Strauss.

Most passenger cabins are with French balconies fitted with drop-down panoramic windows.

The 8 suites, all found on the 3rd (Mozart) Deck, are 325 ft2 (30 m2) and have French balconies plus step-out balconies.

All accommodations provide twin beds that can form queen beds. They also feature showers, seating areas, cabinets, TVs and phones. Suites have minibars.

Shipboard facilities

This premium ship boasts spacious public areas - like the pool deck with Lido-Bar and swimming pool, or the outdoor River Terrace that is glass-shielded. Popular onboard amenities are the Amadeus Club, Panorama-Bar and Lounge, Sun Deck with deck chairs, Hair Salon, Massage Room, Fitness Room.

MS Amadeus Provence offers the breathtaking 7-night “French Savoir Vivre” cruise round-trip from Lyon. The itinerary provides passengers with the chance to experience world-famous sights like Pont du Gard (Roman aqueduct), Gorges de l'Ardeche, the wine region Beaujolais and the nature reserve Camargue.
