MS Regina Danubia

MS Regina Danubia is a riverboat (flussschiff) owned and operated by the German travel company “Donauschiffahrt Wurm + Kock” (“Danube Shipping”). Headquartered in Passau, Germany, the company homeports the vessel in Passau, where she operates 1-day cruise trips on the Danube River.

The vessel was launched in 1992 by the shipbuilder Lux-Werft at its Mondorf shipyard (near Bonn, Germany). She has a 1.4 m draft and a total power output of 1320 hp. The ship’s maximum passenger capacity is 400. The total number of indoor seats is 314, including 192 on the Entrance Deck and 122 on the Gallery Deck. The Entrance Deck houses the Buffet Counter (Kitchen) and the Gift Shop. The Gallery Deck contains the Navigation Bridge (called the “Wheelhouse” on riverboats), an indoor Bar Lounge, and aft is the outdoor Bardeck (with 4-seat tables for alfresco dining). A Sun Deck (Observation Deck) is also available with bench seating.

As a day-trip riverboat, MS Regina Danubia has no passenger cabins.
