MS Linzerin

The MS Linzerin cruise ship is a riverboat (flussschiff) owned and operated by the German travel company "Donauschiffahrt Wurm + Kock" (translated as "Danube Shipping"), headquartered in Passau, Germany. The vessel is homeported in Linz, Austria and operates 1-day cruise trips on the Danube River.

The ship was launched in 1995 by the shipbuilder Lux-Werft at its shipyard in Mondorf (near Bonn, Germany). She was reconstructed, modified, and fully refurbished in 2014. The vessel has a draft of 1.3 m, a total power output of 1,040 hp, and a maximum passenger capacity of 450. The total number of indoor seats is 220, all located on the Entrance Deck. The ship can accommodate groups of 40 to 230 passengers. The Navigation Bridge (called the “Wheelhouse” on riverboats) is positioned forward on the Upper/Sun Deck.

The Sun Deck area is decorated with live plants and furnished with benches (forward), comfortable loungers, and four-seat tables. It also features an outdoor/open-air Observation Lounge.

As a day-trip riverboat, MS Linzerin has no passenger cabins.
