MS Sissi

MS Sissi is a river cruise ship (Flussschiff) owned and operated by the German travel company “Donauschiffahrt Wurm + Kock” (“Danube Shipping”), headquartered in Passau, Germany. The ship is homeported in Passau and operates 1-day cruise trips on the Danube River.

The vessel was launched in 1998 by Lux-Werft at its shipyard in Mondorf (near Bonn, Germany). She has a 1.4-m draft and a total power output of 550 hp. MS Sissi accommodates up to 250 passengers, with 150 indoor seats. Each deck is equipped with a buffet counter (kitchen), and the Middle Deck houses a gift shop. The ship’s Navigation Bridge (referred to as the “Wheelhouse” on riverboats) is located midship on the Free Deck (Sun Deck), which also features bench seating.
