SS Catherine

Uniworld SS Catherine sails on the Saône and Rhône rivers through Provence and Burgundy (renowned wine regions in southern France). Departures are from Avignon and Lyon. UNIWORLD also offers combined back-to-back (B2B) itineraries with departures from Paris, France. These include a Seine River cruise from Paris (roundtrip on the UNIWORLD ship River Baroness), followed by TGV (high-speed train) travel from Paris to Mâcon and a bus transfer to Lyon for embarkation. Another option features back-to-back itineraries that include a Dordogne and Garonne cruise from Bordeaux (roundtrip on the UNIWORLD ship River Royale (now SS Bon Voyage)).

SS Catherine has a total of 80 cabins (including 6 Suites) across 8 categories. Each stateroom features a built-in closet, flat-screen TV, designer bed, and marble bathroom. Cabins on the middle and upper decks offer French balconies. All Suites provide additional amenities, including butler service.

SS Catherine is a modern riverboat, christened on March 27, 2014. Sailing throughout France, this luxury vessel features three full decks with elegant and cozy public areas. The Leopard Lounge showcases leopard-print furnishings and jungle-inspired design elements. Other highlights include the mosaic-tiled Serenity River Spa, a heated swimming pool, Sun Deck, fitness center, boutique, the Cezanne Restaurant (main dining room) with an al fresco dining terrace, a bistro for more casual dining, complimentary Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, an elevator, and a 24-hour specialty coffee bar.
