Cabins

As a cruise ferry, Cote D'Albatre offers 50 cabins (maximum occupancy of 4 passengers) with a total of 196 berths. All staterooms are air-conditioned, feature en-suite bathrooms, and are available as both interior and exterior cabins. A cot is available upon request at the ship’s reception desk.

Bed linens, towels, and toiletries are provided. Some cabins are wheelchair-accessible, adapted for passengers with reduced mobility. DFDS Seaways also offers designated "Pet Cabins" for travelers with animals. Guests with pets must book an entire cabin (double or triple occupancy). Animals must remain in cages, and dogs (including service dogs) must be leashed and muzzled at all times.

The vessel also features two spacious Reserved Seating Lounges with aircraft-style reclining seats available for pre-booking—one in a private area and one in an open section. The seats fully recline and convert into 2.1-meter-long horizontal beds. Free standard-type seating is also available.

All passengers must vacate their staterooms 30 minutes before the vessel's arrival in port. Check-in closes one hour before scheduled departure.

Cote D'Albatre ferry Wiki

The vessel was launched on July 22, 2005, and acquired in October of the same year. Her inaugural cruise took place on March 6, 2006. The ship was initially operated by Transmanche Ferries, a French shipping company and subsidiary of the Louis Dreyfus Group, specializing exclusively in English Channel crossings between Newhaven and Dieppe. In 2014, Transmanche Ferries merged with another Louis Dreyfus Group brand, LD Lines, and was subsequently integrated into DFDS Seaways.

The ship Cote D'Albatre is also identical to ferries operated by the Spanish companies BALEARIA and Naviera ARMAS.
