Cabins

As a cruise ferry, Seven Sisters has 50 cabins (maximum capacity 4 passengers) and a total of 196 berths. All staterooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms, and are available as both inside and outside cabins. A cot is available on request at the ship's reception desk.

The ferry company provides bed linens, towels, and toiletries. Some staterooms are wheelchair-accessible (adapted for disabled passengers). DFDS Seaways ferries also offer so-called "Pet Cabins". Travelers with pets must book an entire cabin (double or triple occupancy). Animals must remain in pet cages. Dogs (including service dogs) must be leashed and muzzled.

The vessel also offers two spacious Reserved Seating Lounges with reclining seats (aircraft-type seats) available for pre-booking (one private and one in the vessel's open area). The seats recline fully and convert into 2.1 m long horizontal beds. Seven Sisters also provides free standard seating.

All passengers must vacate their staterooms 30 minutes prior to homeport arrival. Passenger check-in closes 1 hour prior to ferry departure.

Seven Sisters ferry Wiki

The vessel was launched on March 31, 2006, and acquired in October. The inaugural cruise took place on November 2, 2006. The initial ship operator was Transmanche Ferries, a French shipping company (a subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Group) specializing exclusively in English Channel crossings (Newhaven-Dieppe). In 2014, Transmanche Ferries merged with another Louis Dreyfus Group brand (LD Lines) and subsequently with DFDS Seaways.

In 2014-2015, the ferry was deployed on the Portsmouth-Le Havre route, replacing Norman Voyager (now Stena Livia).

Major drydock refits and refurbishments were carried out at Remontowa Gdansk Shipyard (Gdansk, Poland) in October 2007 and March 2016.
