MS Alina

The 2011-built MS Alina cruise ship is sistership to MS Amelia (2012).

The 220-passenger riverboat is owned by Scylla AG (via Scylla Cruises) and is currently operated under charter by the German cruise tour company Phoenix Reisen.

Cabins

All of the boat's 108 cabins are outside and with either French Balconies or Panoramic Windows. State-of-the-art equipment and modern design create a unique atmosphere. All rooms are fully equipped, boasting a flat-screen TV, radio, safe, minibar, air conditioning, hairdryer, shower and WC.

Shipboard facilities

Ship's impressive atrium welcomes guests onboard. The decor of Alina is characterized by modern design including brown upholstery, cyan cushions, straight lines, dark wood panelling, but nevertheless, ms Alina is still recognisable as a member of SCYLLA family. The history of the Swiss cruise shipping company began in 1974 with MS Scylla.

The boat has two restaurants, both with floor-ceiling windows and offering flexibility and a choice between a la carte and buffet. Furthermore, a wellness and fitness area is provided with the latest equipment.

The ship has a show lounge (with dance floor and full-service bar), comfortable Lido Bar (with outdoor terrace), Boutique Shop, Internet corner, spacious Sun Deck (with whirlpool, golf putting green, shuffleboard, shaded seating - deckchairs, sunbeds). A lift connects all cabin decks.

Vessel's construction (hull and superstructure) was done at the Vahali Shipyard in Belgrade Serbia. The 1923-founded Dutch shipbuilding company (Scheepswerf En Machinefabriek Vahali BV) owns and operates yards in Serbia (Belgrade, and Zasavica) and in Holland (Gendt). Vahali Shipyard Zasavica was officially opened in 2013. Following the construction in Serbia, the cruise ship was towed to Holland for final outfitting at Scheepswerf Vahali (Gendt).
