MS Katharina von Bora cruises on Elbe River, with departures from Berlin (Potsdam) and Prague the whole year-round. Itineraries feature passing through Elbe-Havel Canal (between Potsdam and Magdeburg).
Cabins
MS Katharina von Bora ship has a total of 42 cabins for 80 passengers. All Upper Deck cabins are French Balcony staterooms with floor-ceiling glass doors opening to a railing (false balcony). Upper Deck cabins are with either 2 lower beds (1 twin, 1 sofabed) or 1 double bed (1,5 x 2 m) with 2 mattresses.
Aft on decks Main and Upper are located all 4 Single cabins (2 on each deck). These are 1-bed rooms (sized 9 m2 / 100 ft2), with sofabed, non-opening window (Main Deck) or French Balcony (Upper Deck), and bookable without single supplement fees.
Shipboard amenities
MS Katharina von Bora ship has a fore-located Dining Room Restaurant with floor-ceiling windows, single-seating capacity and open seating arrangement. The ship has no wellness complex (Fitness, Spa, Hair Salon), Library, Lift (passenger elevator), Swimming Pool (or Jacuzzi), The wheelhouse, all railings and awnings are retractable to allow passing under low bridges.
Sun Deck has retractable Awnings (shaded seating areas with 4-seat tables and chairs, full bar service) and aft-located deckgames area (with Giant Chess Set and Putting Green / Mini-Golf). The sunbathing area (midship) is furnished with sunloungers and deckchairs.
The fore-located on Upper Deck Bar Lounge has floor-ceiling windows, comfortable seating (round tables with armchairs), grand piano (live performances by resident pianist) and is served by its own Bar. Onboard entertainment includes daily live music performances, cooking demonstrations, quiz games, bingo, crew show, themed dance nights, enrichment lectures and media presentations (related to the cruisetour itinerary's destinations, ports, excursions).
The cruise company offers optional shore excursions (not included in cruisetour fares) in each of the visited ports. Land tours include sightseeing tours, city walks, cycling tours, bus travel to nearby tourist destinations. On all guided shore excursions are provided complimentary portable audio headsets.
