Scenic Jasper

The Scenic Jasper riverboat cruises on the Danube and Rhine rivers in Europe. The itineraries visit Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Romania. Departures are from Amsterdam, Basel, Budapest, and Prague. Itineraries departing from Paris (France), Bucharest (Romania, embarkation in Giurgiu), and Istanbul (Turkey) include bus transfers to the embarkation port and hotel stays.

Scenic Jasper, together with the other 2015-launched ship Scenic Opal, is part of the line's fleet expansion program, which positioned Scenic Cruises among the leading European river passenger shipping lines.

Cabins

All Scenic river cruise ships in Europe operate with all-inclusive deals. These vessels are also nearly 20% longer but have a smaller guest capacity compared to standard-design riverboats sailing on Europe’s major rivers and inland waterways. This design (patented as "Space-Ships") allows for larger cabins and more spacious public areas. A signature feature of all Scenic Cruises "Space-Ships" is the cabin balconies called “Sun Lounges”. These are outdoor terraces that easily convert into indoor lounge areas. Scenic Jasper has a total of 85 cabins (73 of which are balcony suites) in 16 categories across 4 passenger decks (including two decks entirely dedicated to balcony cabins).

• More than 80% of the accommodations feature full-size balconies. Every room has a “Scenic Slumber Bed” (queen-size) with fine linens and a pillow menu. Junior and Royal Suites also include butler service.

Shipboard facilities

Scenic Jasper restaurants include Crystal Restaurant, Portobellos (Italian), Riverview Terrace (al fresco), and Table la Rive (Diamond Deck, reserved for Suite passengers). There is also a Panorama Lounge, River Cafe, Gelati Bar, Wellness Centre (Gym and Spa), swimming pool, onboard shop, and an elevator connecting all cabin decks. On all price-inclusive Scenic cruise tours and shore excursions, guests receive GPS tracking devices (called ScenicTailorMade) with uploaded digital maps. These devices also function as listening units for live narration provided by the line’s local expert tour guides during group excursions. Binoculars and bicycles are also provided complimentary so guests can fully enjoy the scenery along the Scenic river cruise itinerary route.

Scenic river cruise deals are among the industry's most all-inclusive. All meals, drinks (except French Champagne and the highest-end liquors), excursions, butler service, and Internet access are included in the fares. Even the drinks in the cabins’ mini-bars are complimentary. Most passengers are aged 55+, financially comfortable, and well traveled.

Scenic Jasper cruise deals include Internet (Wi-Fi), all tours and excursions, ground transfers, hotel stays, gratuities, port taxes, and all beverages consumed onboard (coffee, tea, bottled water, and soft drinks).
