Review of MS Bellefleur

MS Bellefleur (formerly known as "Viking Europe") is a friendly and intimate river cruise ship, with a restaurant and a lounge with its own bar, both offering great panoramic views of the passing scenery. There is a covered promenade with seating along ship's Upper Deck, as well as a partially-shaded sun deck, library and small shop. Passengers can expect afternoon tea that is served with freshly made pastries and cakes.MS Bellefleur

Cabins onboard ms Bellefleur have individual air-conditioning controls, a WC and shower, satellite TV, telephone, a safe and hairdryer. Those located on the lower deck are standard, with a small window, pullman bed and sofa bed which during the day converts to a seating area and is made up in the evening. Middle and upper deck cabins are more spacious and have large picture windows and twin-beds, which can be pushed together into a double bed. The De luxe cabins are 154 ft2 (14.3 m2), standard are 120 ft2 (11 m2).

The official onboard language is English, and all crew speak it fluently as do tour guides who escort shore excursions. A laundry service is available onboard. Passengers on ms Bellefleur river ship tend to be 45+ British. At full capacity Bellefleur's crew ratio is 1 to 3.8 passengers.

The Bellefleur ship is one of all three time-chartered by CMV riverboats operating in Europe. The other two in the "Cruise and Maritime river cruise fleet" are Bellejour and Belvedere. MS Viking Europe's sister ships (still operating as part of the Viking Cruises fleet) are Viking Neptune, Viking Pride and Viking Spirit.
