Amadeus Silver II

The 2015-built Amadeus Silver II cruise ship is a 170-passenger riverboat owned by the Austrian company and shipowner Luftner Cruises and operated through the Luftner-owned travel brand Amadeus River Cruises.

Like her sisterships Amadeus Silver 3 (2016) and Amadeus Imperial (2020), Amadeus Silver 2 cruises on the Moselle, Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.

The vessel (ENI number 2336369) is currently Germany-flagged (MMSI 211682330) and registered in Cologne.

Cabins

MS Amadeus Silver 2 has 84 staterooms across four decks — the open-air Sun Deck and three interior passenger decks named after famous Austrian composers: Haydn, Mozart, and Strauss.

The riverboat offers 12 Amadeus Suites (27 m², with step-out balconies), 54 French Balcony cabins (18 m²), and 18 Window cabins (18 m², with non-opening windows).

All staterooms include standard amenities such as twin beds (convertible to a Queen-size double), a mirrored vanity table with chair, wardrobe, electronic safe (in the closet), direct-dial telephone, TV, seating area (two armchairs with a round coffee/dining table), floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall slide-opening windows (in French Balcony cabins), and an en-suite bathroom (toilet, single-sink vanity, shower, hairdryer).

Suites additionally feature a fully stocked minibar (not complimentary), a corner sofa (daybed), a walk-in wardrobe, and a step-out balcony.

Shipboard facilities and amenities

All meals on Amadeus Silver 2 are served in the Panorama Restaurant (located forward on Strauss Deck 2). The restaurant offers light bites (early breakfast) and buffet-style breakfast. Lunch is served either buffet-style or as a sit-down meal (waiter service), while dinners are five-course gourmet affairs with complimentary regional wines. All produce is locally sourced and seasonal. Guests also enjoy Afternoon Tea & Cake service, midnight snacks, and a 24-hour coffee/tea station.

The best place for relaxation is the Sun Deck (Deck 4), offering panoramic views of the riverside, ample seating (deckchairs, sunloungers, shaded areas with retractable awnings), a putting green (mini-golf), Giant Chessboard, Shuffleboard, and the Lido Bar (serving light snacks and beverages). The fore-located Navigation Bridge (Wheelhouse) is telescopic (lowerable for low bridges) and passenger-accessible.

• (Mozart Deck 3 forward) Panorama Lounge & Bar – a show lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, and a full-service bar. The Lounge hosts enrichment programs, including port talks, itinerary-themed lectures, media presentations, themed parties, crew shows, and live performances by local artists.
• (Mozart Deck 3 aft) Amadeus Club – a stylish wine bar with Internet stations that also serves as a library.
• (Mozart Deck 3 midship) Cafe Vienna – a bakery/patisserie and coffee house offering Austrian specialty coffees, fresh-baked cakes, tarts, pastries, and gourmet desserts.
• (Mozart Deck 3 bow) River Terrace – a glass-shielded outdoor lounge (wind and rain-protected), accessible from the Panorama Lounge or via stairs from the Sun Deck.
• Spa (massage room), Hair Salon (hairdresser), and Gym (fitness room).

The ship does not have a swimming pool or outdoor Jacuzzi. One passenger elevator connects all cabin decks. Wi-Fi is available shipwide at an additional cost. Complimentary bicycles (stored on the Sun Deck) and wireless audio systems are provided for all shore excursions.
