The 2nd of 5 in the revolutionary Voyager-class series vessel that started with Voyager of the Seas cruise liner in 1999, Explorer of the Seas cruise ship is following the floating resort concept, boasting a wealth of amenities, activities and amusement. Facilities including a sixty--foot-by-forty foot ice skating rink/concert venue/TV Studio, inline-skating rink, a shopping/dining/entertainment boulevard, rock-climbing wall, miniature golf, wedding chapel, florist, complete-court basketball and spa/solarium complex. Active passengers of all ages, from kids to adults, are going to find something to have fun. There is a lot to appeal to each age group, making this an amazing vessel for multi-generational reunions.
Despite all the conveniences, passengers would be remiss in not mentioning that the Explorer of the Seas cruise liner has been out-sized and out-classed by the line's Freedom- and Oasis-class vessels - but Explorer of the Seas cruise ship certainly has its advantages. It's Royal Caribbean's devoted New Jersey-based ship and one of the line's most reasonably priced.
