MS Vivaldi cruises on the Danube River, departing from the homeport of Vienna, Austria on roundtrip itineraries, as well as on one-way voyages leaving from Linz, Austria, Tulcea, Romania, Budapest, Hungary, and Passau, Germany. The riverboat is owned and operated by CroisiEurope, one of Europe’s largest river cruise companies.

Cabins

The riverboat has 88 passenger cabins (each 140 ft² / 13 m²), including 69 twins, 18 doubles, and 1 wheelchair-accessible cabin (with a queen/double bed), arranged across three decks. Cabin distribution is as follows: Main Deck (26 doubles), Middle Deck (20 doubles and 1 accessible cabin), Upper Deck (41 doubles). Main Deck cabins feature riverview porthole windows (non-opening). Middle Deck accommodations have large picture windows (also non-opening). Upper Deck cabins are fitted with French balconies (slide-opening windows). Standard stateroom amenities include a private bathroom (WC, sink, shower cabin), satellite TV, radio, phone (internal calls only), hairdryer, personal safe, and individually controlled air conditioning.

Shipboard facilities

Onboard amenities include a lounge with a dance floor and bar, a dining room (L’Europe Restaurant), an upper deck lounge with an outdoor terrace, a sundeck relaxation area (shaded seating, loungers, deckchairs), a gift shop, a library, and an elevator. Complimentary bicycles and Wi-Fi Internet access are also provided. CroisiEurope’s gourmet dining, combined with organized tours featuring themed food and wine tasting events, allows Vivaldi’s guests to sample regional cuisine and fine European wines along the cruise route.

• Danube Christmas Markets cruises from Vienna are offered in November and throughout the December Holidays. This 3-day roundtrip itinerary visits some of Europe’s largest and best-known Christmas Market cities—Budapest and Bratislava—providing both touring and shopping opportunities.
