AmaDagio Wiki

The vessel was originally named "MS Monarch Queen" when launched in 2006. It was chartered by AmaWaterways until 2019, after which it was returned to its owner, DDSG Blue Danube GmbH, and renamed "MS Klimt."

AmaDagio cruise ship (Monarch Queen)

AmaDagio was the first of the new-generation APT riverboats in the Aria-class, preceding the line's newer Concerto-class ships. Her sister ships include AmaCello, AmaDante, AmaDolce, and AmaLyra. This new river cruise ship design introduced the "French Balcony" stateroom concept, featuring sliding floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

Each ship in this class is powered by two Cummins marine diesel engines (model KTA 38 M1) with a combined output of 1620 kW / 2170 HP.
