Jeanine barge

The Jeanine barge cruises in Burgundy on the Saone River (Burgundy’s Canal du Centre, France). Itineraries depart from Dijon, with an included coach transfer from Dijon to Saint-Leger-sur-Dheune for evening embarkation. These are one-way routes operated only during the summer months.

MS Jeanine is owned by CroisiEurope and operates canal cruises in France alongside fleetmates (luxury hotel barges) Anne Marie, Daniele, Deborah, Madeleine, and Raymonde.

Cabins

The CroisiEurope hotel barge Jeanine has 12 passenger cabins (each 97 ft2 / 9 m2), all with a picture window. Amenities include a private bathroom (WC, sink, shower cabin), flat-screen TV, radio, telephone (internal calls only), hairdryer, personal safe, and individually controlled air conditioning.

Shipboard facilities

Onboard amenities include a lounge (with its own bar), a restaurant, and a sundeck relaxation area (with loungers and parasols, a barbecue area, and a bow-located Jacuzzi). Complimentary bicycles and Wi-Fi are also provided.

MS Jeanine’s Burgundy canal itinerary follows the Saone River along the Canal du Centre, allowing visits to the Burgundy wine regions Cote d'Or and Saone-et-Loire. She passes forests, hills, rural countryside, picturesque villages, and renowned vineyards (including Cote de Beaune and Chalonnaise). Onboard gourmet dining, together with organized food and wine tastings, lets guests enjoy the local cuisine and wines.

• The barge ship Jeanine was built in 1926. Converted into a hotel barge in 1985, she now has 12 passenger cabins. Renovated in 2013, she is among the most modern hotel barges operating in France.
