The 1999-built MS Monet cruise ship sails on the Rhine River (Germany), departing from homeport Kehl-Strasbourg (Germany–France) on roundtrip itineraries. Occasionally, the riverboat offers departures from Amsterdam, Holland (on the Dutch inland waterways) and from Trier, Germany (on the Moselle River).

In 2021, the vessel (ENI number 1822874) changed its flag state/registry from France (MMSI 227654770) to Luxembourg (MMSI 253242509).

Cabins

The CroisiEurope MS Monet features 78 passenger cabins (each measuring 118 ft² / 11 m²) in three categories, including 2 single and 4 triple cabins. Main Deck staterooms (44 doubles, 4 triples, 2 singles) have Riverview porthole windows (non-opening). Upper Deck cabins (28 doubles) feature large picture windows (also non-opening). Each cabin includes a private bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower), satellite TV, radio, phone (for internal calls only), hairdryer, personal safe, and individually controlled air-conditioning.

Shipboard Facilities

Onboard amenities include a lounge with a dance floor and bar, a restaurant (Monet Restaurant), and a sundeck relaxation area with shaded seating, loungers, and deckchairs. Additional facilities include a gift shop, library, complimentary bicycles, and free Wi-Fi Internet access. CroisiEurope’s gourmet dining options, together with themed food and wine tasting excursions, allow guests to experience regional cuisine and fine European wines along the cruise routes.

• MS Monet’s Rhine River itineraries visit charming towns and river port cities in France (Strasbourg), the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Volendam, Hoorn, Enkhuizen), and various destinations across Germany.
• France Christmas Market river cruises in Strasbourg are offered in late November and during the December holidays. These 3-day itineraries include inner-city canal cruising with opportunities for sightseeing and Christmas shopping.
