AmaDante

The 2008-built AmaDante cruises along the Danube River, operating itineraries between Amsterdam and Budapest in both directions. The ship also offers Holland river cruises departing roundtrip from homeport Amsterdam.

All AmaWaterways ships offer complimentary bicycles (stored on the sundeck) for use during shore excursions and guided tours at ports of call along each itinerary.

Cabins

The custom-designed AmaDante cruise ship features spacious staterooms ranging from 170 to 255 sq.ft., each equipped with complimentary bottled water, plush down bedding, terry robes, marble-appointed bathrooms, first-run Hollywood movies, and complimentary Internet access. AmaDante offers a total of 75 cabins, including 4 Suites, 58 French Balconies, and 13 with non-opening twin windows, across 7 categories.

Shipboard Facilities

Dining venues include Verde (main dining room) and al fresco options in the Main Lounge and on the Sun Deck. AmaDante's gourmet restaurant offers refined cuisine with attentive service, featuring regional dishes crafted under the direction of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs gold medal-winning chefs. Culinary highlights are complemented by complimentary local wines served at dinner.

Other onboard amenities include the Main Lounge & Bar (with teak-front terrace, ideal for evening entertainment and gatherings), Aft Lounge (observation), Dante Lobby, Library, Gift Shop, Fitness & Spa, Massage & Beauty Salon, and a top deck with whirlpool, sun loungers, shaded seating, and walking track. The ship is also equipped with one passenger elevator.

AmaDante cruise packages are all-inclusive, featuring alcoholic and soft beverages, Wi-Fi Internet, all tours and excursions, coach transfers, live evening entertainment with local performers, daily enrichment lectures, food and wine tastings, and 24-hour access to coffee, tea, and water.

• "MAGNIFICENT EUROPE" – A 16-day itinerary (15 days sailing) along the Rhine-Main-Danube route, from Budapest to Amsterdam and reverse. Includes 5 optional and 16 complimentary land tours/excursions.
• "ENCHANTING RHINE" – A 13-day itinerary (8 days sailing) on the Rhine River, from Amsterdam to Zurich (disembarking in Basel) and reverse. Includes 4 optional and 8 complimentary excursions, plus 2-night Zurich and 2-night Lucerne hotel stays.
• "RHINE AND MOSELLE DISCOVERIES" – A 15-day itinerary (13 days sailing) covering the Moselle and Rhine rivers, from Amsterdam to Basel and reverse. Includes 18 complimentary land tours (excursions or sightseeing).

APT's AmaDante riverboat is the fourth vessel in the new generation of AmaWaterways Aria-Class cruise ships (preceding the newer Concerto-Class vessels), with sisterships AmaCello, AmaDagio, AmaDolce, and AmaLyra. This class of river cruise ships features a modern design centered around "French Balcony" staterooms, which are equipped with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Each vessel in the Aria-Class is powered by two Cummins marine diesel engines (model KTA 38 M1) with a combined output of 1620 kW / 2170 HP.
